Members and newsletter. If you sign up as a member or subscribe, your email address (and name, if you give it) is stored on this site's own server so I can send you sign-in links and updates. You can unsubscribe or ask for your account to be deleted at any time via the Contact page.

Cookies. This site is built on Ghost. Ghost sets a members session cookie only when you sign in, to keep you logged in. No advertising or tracking cookies are set by this site.

Analytics. This site uses no third-party analytics or tracking scripts.

Affiliate links. Some links go to Amazon as part of the Amazon Associates program. If you click one, Amazon may set cookies in your browser to attribute any purchase. That data is collected by Amazon under Amazon's privacy notice, not by this site.

Server logs. Like most web servers, the server hosting this site keeps standard access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser user agent and referrer). These are used only for security and troubleshooting and are deleted on a routine basis.

Other external links. Links to other sites (such as X) are governed by those sites' own privacy policies.
